As long as its not running iOS 6.1.3 or later than you are good. If its running iOS 6.1.2 or earlier you can use the Evasi0n jailbreak to do it quick and simple, If its running something under iOS 6 (iOS 5 or lower) you can use redsn0w or absinthe to jailbreak it un-teathered. (There's no jailbreak for iOS 6.1.3 or later and will not be anther one until iOS 7 drops later this summer or fall.)
- Will updating Iphone 3GS to ioS 6.0 ruin screw up my jailbreak? I don't know how to ask this… Sorry if my wording makes no sense. I have an Iphone 3GS, and I want to update it iOs 6.0, but won't that take the jailbreak or whatever off? And I will have to jailbreak it again?
