How to just use Wi-Fi on iphone?

Is there a way to turn off the internet connection and just use the Wi-Fi? That way i won't be using any data. Even when i'm not around Wi-Fi. Its a iphone 4s

Easily done!

1) Go to the settings app

2) Turn Airplane mode on

3) Now go to Wi-Fi and turn that on again - voila

Yes their is. If you put your phone on airplane mode, it disables your Wi-Fi, internet connection, texting and calling. You can always turn this on and off. It saves your battery as well. You go into settings, and at the top of the main settings page, theirs an orange plane. Simply just turn it on. Hope this helps.

Don't listen to these guys telling you to put your phone on airplane mode. You won't be able to make or receive text or calls. Go to settings>General>Cellular> then turn off cellular data then turn your Wi-Fi on. This way you just make turn off your 3g not the whole service
