How to keep everything on iphone after restoring?
Someone accidentally put a code on my phone and he doesn't know what he typed so I have to restore my phone. So I just backed up my phone on itunes, will i be able to keep text messages and photos on my phone?
Your photos, contacts and all should be okay. Honestly, I'm not sure about your texts tho!
Yes, if you have a backup, you can restore from the backup after you restore your phone.
1. Connect it with iTunes on your computer
2. Right-click (or Control-click) the device and choose Restore from Backup

He has recently just installed the new ios6 and after this he has lost all of his photos and is only able to get a back up from that of january. Surely itunes would have backed it up before the update? It doesn't look as though the photos are on the phone at all, but i was wondering if they would have been stored anywhere? any help would be great
