How to keep phone number if buying iphone 5 with straight talk?
Iphone3gs sim and want to get iphone5 and keep phone number and use with straight talk so how do you go about it? Also, I want a fast connection and will get a off contract phone would you buy from straight talk, at&t etc and what should i be aware of buying from either one?

-You can definitely keep your phone number, you just need to go through the porting process. Go to Straight Talk's website, then FAQ's, and then "Transfer Number" for instructions.
-If you want the iPhone 5 on the Straight Talk network, you have to buy it from Straight Talk. Unfortunately, you can't buy the iPhone 5 from another carrier and then get a Straight Talk SIM for it at this time.
-I wouldn't worry about Straight Talk's connection too much. Straight Talk is an MNVO, meaning they "lease" other major carrier's towers - such as Verizon and T-Mobile.So, you'll be getting the same service as your friends who pay those carrier's directly.
