How to keep text messages on my iphone from showing on my MacBook?
I just bought a MacBook Air. I already have an iPhone. I want my phone and laptop to "communicate" via iCloud (?). I. E. I want my photos, songs, videos, to sync from my phone to my PC however, I DO NOT want my text messages to show up on the PC (which they are currently doing). How do I change this feature?
For the record, those are iMessages not text messages. Check the iCloud settings in the System Preferences.
- When I receive text messages with emojis from an iPhone, why do the messages only appear partially? My phone is a "Verizon Samsung Intensity II" slide phone. (Also it's blue but that doesn't matter.) Also, if I'm included in an iPhone group chat (spoiled rich friends, but not snobby…), I get each posted message as a separate message, so I'll end up randomly with 67 unread messages clogging up my inbox.
- If I turn off push messages on my iphone 4 will I still get my regular text messages? I read that turning off push messages or setting them to manually helps save battery life. I want to know if I do this will I still be able to receive my regular text messages.
- I transferred photos and videos(mov format) from macbook to iphone 7. It was all completed. I'm able to view pics but videos not showing up? I transferred photos and videos(mov format) from macbook to iphone 7. It was all completed. I'm able to view pics but videos not showing up. I tried many times to transfer videos but its not coming. What can i do now?
- I can send text messages from my iPhone but can't receive messages? I have an iPhone 5, and i was texting my friends (who also have iPhones) and my messages send to them as text messages (not iMessages) but their texts don't come through to me. I have a macbook air and have my phone number hooked up to messages, so i can receive the messages there, but not my actual phone.
