How to know from where the tweet is tweeted?

How people come to know that the tweet is tweeted form android/iPhone/any other device? People on tumblr/facebook post screenshots of the tweet and sometimes besides the date it's written 'via android' / 'via iPhone' but when i see the original tweet on twitter there's no specification?

If it Does Not Say VIA On it Than it Was Posted From the Computer It Does Not Tell you If its Been Posted on the Computer There's No VIA For That
