How to know if iPhone 5s is jailbroke?
I bought it off Craigslist, I don't remember if it is or not. But j want to get it in service. It says No Service in top left hand corner, but In setting in About under Carrier it says at 22.0. So i don't know. And if it isn't jail broken how do I do it?
Look for an app called "Cydia" if you see it then its jailbroken. If not then, to jailbreak it would depend on the current software. Some software has JB blocked. As in it will not be able to jailbreakable.
Go to your settings > general > about phone > software > youtube " How to jailbreak IOS *current software* ": D
Factory reset the phone and see if your carrier is recognized. If not, probably the phone is locked to a different carrier than yours and needs to be unlocked. Or it could be blacklisted by the seller's carrier. If you need help with the phone, feel free to mail me.
Jailbroken iPhones usually have Cydia installed.
Of course iPhones don't have to be jailbroken to be activated. Just go through the initial setup process & use the SIM when asked for.
If it is locked to a specific carrier you'd need a SIM from them to activate it
If you could install any application on them for free, then it is jail broken and do prefer LEO Privacy Guard v 3.1.2 if you own an Android or iOS Device in order to gain utmost security in your device.

- Just jailbroke my iPhone 5 and Cydia is not working? I just jailbroke my iPhone & iPad using evasi0n. Basically whenever I go into Cydia I get a bin2 error and whenever I try to download a Package on either device I get a 'invalid package size' message. I haven't added nor customized any sources, Cydia is just running as installed. Any ideas? Sorry I keep getting Size Mismatch too.
