How to know if my computer is running on Linux?

Can Windows and OS x still run on linux?
or Linux is its own separate.

Added (1). Also what is the difference between OS X and Iphone's iOS, Andriod and Kernel etc.

Lunix is a operating system on its own. You can use a vm to use windows or osx

Are you asking what type of computer you have?
If you can dual-boot?
If you can run windows/OSx on a linux OS?
If you can run linux on a windows/OSx?
You should really specify the details…

Linux, Windows and OS X are all different operating systems. Some computers can be configured to boot into one or another of these by choosing from a boot menu.

Linux will be in its own partition.
you only run one OS at a time.

Linux is it's own separate operating system
But Linux is a Generic Term. There are many Linux Operating Systems. Ubuntu, Susi, Zorin to name three.

Linux runs separately.

If you did not install Linux, on your computer, then it is not running it.

If you have a cable box then you are running Linux. All DVR run Linux.

Windows, Linux, and OS-X are separate OS. You can only run one on top of the other if you are using a VM.

Linux is its own separate. OS X is for Mac use and iOS is for other portable iDevices, i.e. IPhone, iPad, iPod, etc.
