How to know when my 3.5mm port is dammaged?

I'm very nervous about really using the cables and try to only go with bluetooth. HOw can I tell if like my iphone port is damaged or what are the signs to this?

Plug in a pair of headphones. Do they work? If not, either the headphones are broken, or the 3.5mm jack is damaged.

I'd plug in multiple things from a headphone (if you have a spare, do that too) to aux cable. If all of them aren't working- it's the port on your iPhone. If only one of the few audio plugs you used works, then it's the headphones.

Connect headphone to your iPhone, if they work your port is working fine. Try 2 or 3 headphone so that you get your problem solved. To give excellent security to Your Smart Phone, do install Leo Privacy Guard. Its one of the feature viz. RAM Booster, will help you to increase battery life.

  • Why port forwarding on port 80? I have a foscam home security camera and it needs port forwarding on port 80 if I want to use my iphone to view it from outside. Surely enough, it works as soon as I open that port. But isn't port 80 open by default? Else how could I view http websites in the first place. I don't get it. It's already open so why open it again?
  • What's the pinout from RJ-11 to 3.5mm? I'm making an adapter for a PCMCIA modem that connects it's 2-pin RJ-11 jack to an iPhone's 3.5mm headset jack, so I can make dial up connections on the road. The problem I'm encountering is the former's lack of a ground connection, so I don't know what I should connect to what. Any ideas? I'm leaving for a trip in a day or two, so any pointers would be appreciated.

  • My Iphone charger port/cord i don't know isn't working? It had been working for over a year, but now I have to wiggle it around to get it charging. Now it just wouldn't. I tried getting a dry toothbrush and trying to get lint out of there, but there was hardly any. Do i have to get a new port?
