How to know when my used Iphone has been completely switched over to me?

I just bought an iphone 4s from its previous owner. Its second hand so it had to be completely wiped out of all previous data. A factory reset has been done but i'm not sure if just switching the sim card switches the phone over to me. Will putting my sim card in the iphone switch the title over to me? Or is the phone still connected to the previous owner by itunes and i have to actually set the phone up to a new itune account for it to be mine?

Factory Reset it and its all that is needed.
If your worried about itunes, don't worry because once you factory reset your phone everything returns the way it is, and everything goes default besides once you entered itunes and his account is still logged in a simple log out will do and your good to go.

By changing the Sim card too, that phone is officially yours, all you need is the official receipt of when it was bought and it will be truly be yours ^_^.

Hope i helped Good Luck.
Advanced Merry Christmas.

  • Will the dry rice method still work for an iphone if it has been switched on? I dropped my phone in water and immediately took it out, dried it and turned it on to see if it worked. The phone worked but there was no sound so i googled what to do and i found the dry rice method but it said that you shouldn't turn on your phone but i did (maybe for ten mins?) so i turned it off and put it in a bag full of rice. Will the sound go back to normal because i turned on my phone? Should i put in the bag of rice with the back removed and battery exposed then?

  • My iphone has been acting up over the last few months? Iphone 3gs! My iphone has been acting up over the last few months, when I click 'contacts' it says I have none, but I can still find them when I type their name into the search bar, and it also does the same thing for photos, and now I struggle to connect to the Wi-Fi unless i'm within 10 feet of my wireless router.
  • My iPhone 5s has been dead for over a year is there any way to turn it back on? I've tried pressing all the buttons down for a couple seconds and the hairdryer trick, but they didn't work. I want to use my iPhone 5s for storing pictures and music because I'm already running out of space on my iPhone 6s. I don't want to spend money going to the Apple Store to get it fixed. Is there anything I can do to turn it back on? Nothing comes up it's just a black screen.
