How to learn to write ios applications?

More or less I have wanted to try writing apps for iPhone like most people apparently. I've had some experience with programming before but none with obj-c which seems to be the most commonly used?
Anyone know any sites/online courses that start from a very basic level?
Cheers

Google "ios cocoa tutorials apple"; first three results(excluding the ad).

  • Where can i learn to legitamently hack iphone applications? All hackers learn somewhere and i don't know where that somehwere is. For example, i wouldnt want to know where to jailbreak, i would want to know how to create my own jailbreak and write the files. Please assist me in this field! I've got the money if there are programs. Not only phones though but computers too!
  • What type of applications does ios have? • Tweets showing up that I didn't write? I just made a twitter about a month ago, but I haven't really done anything with it. I'm following one person, and haven't made any tweets. Well on two separate occasions I checked it and it said I had a tweet. They were both like these odd humor ones with some link with it. The second occurance was today, so I deleted it and changed my password. I looked at the apps and the only ones I have are the ones to connect it to the iPhone. Any suggestions?
  • Should a Graphic Designer learn iOS programming? I'm going to college for Graphic Design and found a intro to iOS programming class. The class shows the basics of designing applications for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. The course will also have the basic introduction to HTML, CSS, Javascript and Objective C language. And in the end the student will earn a CiTE certificate. I've never done anything like this before, which is why I'm not sure if it is relevant or useful for a future Graphic Desiger like me to learn.
