How to locate my iPhone if it's on silent?
I'm not sure if I left my phone somewhere or if it's around my apartment, but it's on silent so I don't think having my roommate call it will help. I know there are some sites that will call your phone for you so you can find it, but are there any that will make it ring even if I left it on silent? Thanks!
Added (1). If this makes any difference, it's an iPhone 5.
If you had icould on and find my iphone on in settings you can make it beep if you logg into any computer and go on find my iphone
I always look in the trash for iphones.
First of all, check in iCloud.com or another person's iPhone in "Find my iPhone" app with your iCloud account and make sure it shows the location in the house.
Then keep calling it… Even though it is on silent, it should vibrate.
Do it fast otherwise, the battery will die and will be more difficult…
Mostly they slide between sofa seats. Or fallen behind that clumsy table on which you put it for charging… Or may be in some jeans pocket… Check your cloths before doing laundry though.

The only way to make your phone produce any sound while silent is to use Find My iPhone app on a phone or on iCloud.com on a computer.
The prerequisite is that you have to enable Find My iPhone on your missing iPhone.
