How to make an app for the iphone? - 1

I have some great ideas but have trouble figuring out how to make an app so ppl can give it a try and let me know what they think, thanks!

Try phone gap where using javascript, HTML and css you can create an app for iphone, android, bada, taizen and few more os's… Using single code you can convert into any of the os api file. Large complications are reduced when you do in imac and there's no need to use imac while using phone gap for the development

There are two type of apps that can run on ios (iphone) - native apps or web/hybrid apps.

For native apps, you have to learn Objective C use the Xcode IDE and for developing apps you will need a mac also. For hybrid/web apps, you can use some framework like phonegap, jquery mobile or sencha touch. Bacially phonegap is a platform which will let you access the device's native APIs and you can use it with web frameworks like sencha to code your app. Phonegap also has a commerical service to compile your app on their servers so you won't even need a mac for it.

If you own a Mac PC, just get the iOS 7 SDK app, it's free from Apple's website.

SDK stands for Software Development Kit.

Then, sign up to be a Software Developer to put your App on the iTunes Store.
