How to make iphone 4 Faster if you don't have apps? - 1

I just got a new iPhone 4 two days ago and it's lagging and freezing my screen need help?

This is really really long but it gives you all the trouble shooting tips and I also kind of explained what would happen if it turns into a hardware issue… Ya don't gotta read it all, just figured I would through all that information out there…

Not sure if you bought it new or if it is used but if it is new and you called Apple Tech Support this is what you would be told. Some might seem pointless but in order to isolate the issue you have to check everything no matter how stupid it might seem.

Power cycle your phone… (turn if off and then on)… Do something on the phone to see if it worked.
Go into settings> General> about and make sure you have the lastest version of iOS.
Back up your phone into either iTunes or iCloud.
Go into settings> reset> reset all data.turn the phone off and then off to see if it worked.
Go into settings>reset> reset carrier settings. Turn it off and then on
Do a hard reset. To do that, make sure the phone is turned on and then press and holddown the home button and the sleep/wake button on the phone for about 15 seconds until it shuts off and when it turns back on check to see if that fixed the problem.
Go into settings>reset>erase all content and settings. While you are setting the phone up make sure you set it up as a new device, do not restore from a back up yet. Once it is set up, check to see if it works.
Put the phone in recovery mode. To do this make sure you have the most recent version of iTunes on your computer and open., Turn the phone off. Hold down the home button. While holding it plug the phone into the computer and continue to hold until a screen with a USB cable, and upward pointing blue arrow and the iTunes symbol. When that pops up let go of the button and your computer will pop up and tell you it has detected a device in recovery mode. Go through the pormpts, let in finish reinstalling the software, and like last time, make sure you set it up as a new device. When you are done, check to see if it works.
If none of that works, it is probably a hardware issue. Your phone came with a 1 year limited hardware warranty, so the phone can be replaced for free.
There are 4 options.
The first is called customer drop off, meaning that you would get a repair ID and then take that id and your phone to a UPS store and they will ship it to Apple. It will take 5-7days to get it back.
There's customer arrainged shipping where an empty box would be mailed to you and you and you would put your phone in the box and send it back.
The 3rd option is express replacement. There's a $29 charge for this service and there will be a hold placed on a credit card for the full retail price ($450) of the phone. With this option you can get a phone sent to you and once you get it, you can send yours back in the box the other one came in.

Or you can just set up an appointment at an apple store and then go there and get it fixed or replaced…
blah blah blah.
