Is whited00r 6 safe, faster, and does it allow you to get newer apps?
I've watched alot of videos on it and it seems safe. I want to put it on an iphone 3G and an original iphone.

No, it is no faster, in fact it is a bit slower. Also, it lacks some functionality in key features like multitasking because the 3gs does not have the hardware to handle that sort of thing. Yes, it should run newer apps, except those that require a special graphics chip only found in the iPhone 4+.

After getting onto the website it said your device had to be jailbroken in order to install this, however mine is not. So I was wondering if the update will jailbreak the device for you or you need to go and jailbreak the device on your own?
