How to make iphone app games from scratch? Recommended books etc?
I have decided I want to pursue a potential career in making games. I have very little knowledge in how to do so, and would love some tips on where to start. I'm prepared to spend a hell of a lot of time learning if necessary, as I have a few ideas for games, and would love to make them even if its only me playing them! Any courses/books/tips?

- Why they make PC games but no Mac games? A Mac Pro has a lot more power than most gaming PCs. Its performance will embarrass both consoles and PCs. I don't even have to use a Mac Pro as an example. Just look at an Iphone. The ios version of Grand Theft Auto 3 looks better than the PS2 version. And its not even a console! Its a phone!
- Why can't I hide or delete books on the Books app on my iPhone? I uploaded some free books to read on the app and after a couple chapters wasn't interested in them. I tried to delete them and they didn't go away. I tried to hide them and they still wouldn't go away. Now when I click "edit" it greys out the delete and hide options completely. I'm aggravated because I can't get rid of them no matter what I've tried.
- What are some good games in the App Store? I have an iphone and i need more games Ok I'm going to Tennessee in a few days and its gonna take a while all the way from Illinois. I wanna get some apps that don't require Wi-Fi so i won't be to bored… Thank you!
- This cable is not recommended for this iPhone and may not be reliable? I recently bought a new but un-Apple-certified lightning cord for my iPhone 5c, but this error message has started popping up after about using it about 5 times. Now, my phone is completely dead, and I have no money to buy a new cable, no cable that will charge my phone, and a dead phone. I'm completely desperate for help here, since, like a cliche white girl, my phone is my life.
