Why they make PC games but no Mac games?

A Mac Pro has a lot more power than most gaming PCs. Its performance will embarrass both consoles and PCs. I don't even have to use a Mac Pro as an example. Just look at an Iphone. The ios version of Grand Theft Auto 3 looks better than the PS2 version. And its not even a console! Its a phone!

Because the PC market is about 10x the size of the Mac market. Which means they have 10x as many people to try to sell the game to. And the modern iPhone is probably more powerful than the 13 year old PS2 platform so it better look better.

In terms of horsepower they are using the same chips, and so have the same horsepower - FACT!

Fewer games are made for Macs because less people have them, and Apple has a certain control freakery about the platform.

Because the Mac gaming market is very small. Most people who own Macs don't game on them.

I also believe porting to Mac is quite difficult which is why most things are Windows-based. Linux is getting more and more popular for gaming and I have a feeling it will be more commonly used by gamers than Windows in the future.

Also, Macs aren't more powerful than Windows PCs. In fact a $800 gaming PC could completely wreck a $2000 Mac in terms of performance.

Comparing the iPhone to the PS2 isn't fair. The PS2 is very old and its hardware is very outdated. GTA3 isn't even a demanding game, a potato could run it. Not a very good example given the game is how old now?
