How to make IPhone photos look less grainy?

Every time i take a photo on my iphone 4 the photo looks really grainy, is there anything i can do to change this without editing the picture after it was taken?

Maybe try insta gram

It happens to me all the time you just have to clean the camera or wait for it to focus! You should get a Protector for it!

There's a really simple answer for this… Buy an android.

Get more light.
In low light the camera boosts the ISO sensitivity and in the microscopic sensor in the iphone that causes electronic noise that you see as graininess.

If you are getting too much grain in strong daylight then you need a proper camera

I have this problem too, the photos look great on the phone itself, but on a computer… A completely different story
Personally I think it's just the phone, looking at photos that other people with iPhones have taken on facebook, regardless of what model, they all look just as bad

Step 1: Throw iPhone out window.
Step 2: Buy a real camera and some lighting.

No, but in reality, just find a way to get more light in the scene.

It's not grainy, grain is a specific trait of film, and can't be easily removed, or replicated (authentically). What you're getting is noise, and because the iPhone is full automatic you're stuck with what you get, it will pick high ISOs when the light is poor, and disregard however steady your hand can be. If you want less noise then you will have to use the flash, or get apps like 645Pro which can produce TIFF output, which is much better to use when post processing.

I have cleaned my screen, restart my phone, shut down the app and I have even tried taking photos near a window or outside for natural lighting and it still comes out grainy? Is there anything I can do to fix this! It worked fine before! Xx
