How to make itunes think that my iphone 3g is a 3gs?
I want to play batman arkham city lockdown on my 3g but it says that it won't work, is there a way to make itunes think that my iphone 3g is a 3gs
I'm personally unsure why you would want to do it, but I suppose you have your reasons.
As previously mentioned, the best bet is to jailbreak the phone. This won't get you sued as it isn't illegal to do, but it will void the phones manufacturer warranty. Anything that uses software to change a setting on the phone will void the warranty.
I'm unsure which app you would need to do this, but there definitely wouldn't be an app on the official app store that could do it - so this is your best bet.
No, your phone isn't as fast as a 3GS anyway so it wouldn't run properly. It has half the RAM of a 3GS and a slower processor. It's effectively half the phone the 3GS is.
Sell your iPhone 3G and buy a iPhone 4!

- Make app store think i have a front facing camera? I want to run the vectone app on my iphone 3gs but when i try to install it an error occurs saying that it is not compatible as i do not have a front facing camera. Is there any way this around other than changing phones as it is driving me crazy. my 3gs is on 6.1.3 with a redsn0w untethered jailbreak (as it is old boot rom model, early 2009) and cydia installed. i have the app on another device and it does not use the front facing camera at all. are there not any cydia tweaks to fix this?
