How to make more space on my iPhone 4?

I have the 8gb iphone 4 and I'm trying to download ios7 because some apps are telling me that I can't update because i don't have ios7. I backed up my iphone in icloud and I deleted every single app of my phone, transferred my music to my laptop and deleted it off my iphone, transferred my photos to my laptop and then deleted them, deleted all my messages, deleted all my safari data, and I installed an app called Cleaner and removed unnecessary files. I need at least 3.8gb of free space and right now I have 3.5gb. I'm so close! Does anyone have any suggestions?

IPhone5c. Gotta keep it updated for it to work and have space, considering there's a new one out let's say; every other month?

If you have an iCloud backup and your music is all backed up, your best bet honestly is to go to settings-->general-->reset (all the way at the bottom) and restore the phone to its empty factory settings. From there, set it up very quickly (do not restore from iCloud, etc.), get to the main screen WITHOUT setting anything up or putting in any information, then update it as you normally would. You should have plenty of space at that point. Once you update, reset the phone one more time (it will clear it out again but keep the update), THEN go through it and set it up with an iCloud backup restore, Apple ID, etc. Hope that helps!

  • Will buying more iCloud space let me download more apps, songs, and photos? So i have deleted apps that i don't really need and deleted songs i don't listen to but still there's not enough space to even take a photo, A pop up comes up that says to manage my icloud storage. Would purchasing more icloud storage allow me to download more apps and have more songs and pictures on my iPhone 4 from sprint? It is an 8gb i think.
  • Why does my Iphone music take up more space than it should? I have 1831 songs on my Iphone, very little photos or apps. Yet the songs themselves are taking up 11GB of space on my Iphone. Which seems way more than it should be to me. I was wondering why it is taking up so much room and is there any way I can fix this?
  • More you use an app the more space it takes up on iPhones and iPads? I have an iPad and new iPhone 5 that I just got. I have rhapsody on both the same app and amount of music basically (iPad as seven more songs on app) but on the iPad the rhapsody app takes up 2.8 GB and the iPhone takes up 1.8GB. Why is that? The more use the app the more space it takes up even if you're not adding new content?
  • Possible to switch iphone 6 hard drive into iphone 6s harddrive? (for more memory space)? So I've broken my old iphone 6 which had way more storage than this new one, and I was wondering if I can change the hard drives or whatever holds the memory from phone to phone. I did buy an iPhone 6s so I'm not sure if the iphone 6 and 6s has different hardwares or whatever. But just curious.
