How to make my decision to move or not? I'm a teen-ager (13)?

Okay, so my parents r divorced and i have been given an oppurtunity to go to a preforming arts school in california. (I HAVE ALSO BEEN OFFERED A JOB BY DISNEY, I AUDITIONED ON VACATION LAST MONTH) So, if i move i will go with my mom. My dad won't go and there will be a big fight for her to take me. I want to do it. However, i can't make up my mind. Someone please help me make up my mind, I made a pros and cons list (still wanted to live their) i stayed for a whole summer and loved it. However i will miss my dad. (and family) Concidering i will only visit for one week every two months. We both have iphones so we can video chat/facetime and talk/text. I love him too much to leave but this oppurtuinty only comes once in a lifetime, And it will happen sooner or later (marriage, growing up etc.) ps i'm a guy. It is a big move, so if i go i can't come back. (new jersey to california)

If your parents are divorced, your mom can't take move you out of New Jersey without your father's permission or an order of the court. Decide if that's really worth it…

Go. Disney is cool especially if you can work there.

While you are at an age where the judge may ask your opinion it is the court that will decide where you live based on what it believes is in your best interests. If you now live in New Jersey, as "Hunch": stated, your mom can't legally remove you from New Jersey without permission of the courts.

Throughout your life, opportunities will come along that will make the rest of your life better. This looks like one of those chances. Go for it.

If you really do have a job on hold at Disney, make the move. Please, though, don't wind up like so many of the high-profile Disney flame-outs (Lindsay Lohan comes to mind.).
