How to make pic size smaller?

I'm trying to upload photos to model mayhem and its saying the pic needs to be under 800k and under 4 million pixels. The pics i'm trying to load are from my iphone so i thought they would be small enough but i guess not. What can i do to make the pics small so i can upload them?

Any photo editor can resize an image. Even Microsoft paint could help you resize photo. If you looking for efficient software, i would do it on photoshop as i have one.

Nah! Only kidding. Serious answer is that if you have the pix loaded to a PC (or can get them there) then various Microsoft apps include the ability to compress pictures. Microsoft Office Picture Manager would be my first choice of the readily available tools, but PowerPoint and even Word can do it too. And they can crop too, which might be handy.
