How to make very large panoramic picture fit on Instagram?

The Reddit user StatsAndGraphs posted this picture, and I'd really like to put it on Instagram so people can appreciate the beauty of it. Is there anyway I can make it fit to the screen and keep quality? Using either an iPhone or computer.
You can't have the whole pic fit on instagram but you are able to possibly copy and paste onto paint or another source where you can shrink the whole picture then save that along with the massive white border… Then put it on instagram but crop out as much boarder as you can to fit the left and right edges… You will have still a boarder and a small picture only because its panoramic…
