How to move a purchased iBook into PDF?

I have an unlocked iPhone 4S, and the iBook app. I want to share some of the books I own with my friends via e-mail using PDF. When I try to move my purchased book to PDF, it won't allow me.

What can I do? Why can't I get the PDF style of the book?

You don't own the books, the author/publisher does. You just purchased a limited use license for you to use the file only yourself. The DRM on the file prevents that, because some people can't be trusted to respect their actual rights.

If your friends want those books, they need to buy their own copies and limited license.

  • Purchased book from iBook on iPhone not opening? I just purchased A Storm of Swords by George R. R. Martin from the iBook app on my iPhone, but it won't open. Whenever I tap on it to open it, this message appears: "Failed to load book because the requested resource is missing." I redownloaded the book, but the same message appears. I emailed Apple about this problem, but I was hoping someone could give me an answer faster.
