How to move photos from my iPhone onto my MacBook Air?
Okay, this isn't really what my question's about, so keep reading:
I have about 1,000 vacation photos that are in my Photos app on both my iPhone and my MacBook Air. Because they are taking up storage on my phone, I want to keep them on my computer only. However, I would still like them to be in the Photos app on my computer, not a separate file. How can I delete certain photos from my iPhone without deleting them on my MacBook?

Export as separate files. Once you use iCloud Photo Sharing, the files are shared, not one file on each device. To un-share, they are removed from Photos app. You can't eat your cake and still have it. If you don't want to share one copy of all files between two or more iCloud devices, you need a hard copy of the files on one device. After that, if you never want to share photos again, you can be sure the Photos app's preferences are set to copy items to the Library for any import, import the files, and then trash the external files.
Why is it so horrible to have separate files? Do you have a backup of important stuff? Do you think computers are bullet-proof and can never have a glitch, can never lose all your stuff? If you do not have a second copy of every important photo on an external drive, you are just wishing for pain.

- Why won't my Macbook Air let me import my videos on my iPhone to Photos? I just went to a concert last night and I took a few videos and I would like to add to my photos library but they are not importing. Does anybody know why this happens?
- Transfer iPhone music/photos/apps onto new Macbook Pro? I just purchased a Macbook Pro yesterday and I plugged my iPhone 5 into it and was expecting the music to be automatically transferred to my computer, but that did not happen. How do I transfer my music/photos/apps onto my macbook? The computer I had previously used for iTunes is gone and unable to use.
- Should I buy the iPhone 5 or Macbook Air? So I'm saving to get one of them but I'm not sure which one! I already have a phone but it's the Nokia C3-00 so it's quite old and I've had it for about 2 1/2 years now. I don't have my own laptop but I share one with my mum and I can use it after school only and I can't take it to school because she uses it for work. (The laptop is an HP laptop not an Apple product.) I also have an iPad Mini.
- Is the $999 2012 11 Macbook Air good enough for iphone game/app development? I want to make games and apps for iphone and ipod touch so bad but not sure if the specs of the 11" 2012 mba are good enough seeing that the processor is at 1.7 ghz. I plan on upgrading the ram when i buy it to 8gb. Will this mac be good enough to develop games and app for iphone and ipod touch smoothly?
