How to open my NAT type on ps3 with Iphone?

I use my personal hotspot on my Iphone to play ps3, call of duty and such. My nat type is moderate I need it to be open without bridging it over a laptop or desktop, i made it open once before by switching some ip address and dns servers around… What should i make my default gate way router number for my nat type to be open?

  • Will there be IPv6 to IPv6 NAT after all? I don't like the idea of people on the internet being able to ping, port scan, and easily infect any devices on my home network. With IPv6 someone could ping my iPhone, port scan my laptop, etc. On IPv4 everyone has a single external IP address, and that is assigned to a router which acts as a hardware firewall. Will IPv6 have something like this where you can put all your devices behind a single IP? Will it be the default? Or are we all screwed, set to enter the IPv6 surveillance society?

  • NAT type is Open, but I still lag? Lately I can't go a single game without lag. For my home connection I use my iphone hotspot, which is a terrible thing to use to connect. But it's my only option. It usually doesn't get much lag, but lately it's been unbearably bad. Today, I'm playing on my cousin's connection who has 10 MBPS, and the NAT type is open as well but I still get a lot of lag every same and it's so very annoying. What can I do?
  • Is it possible to sync up an iPhone 4 to a PS3 and record gameplay? The charger cord does fit into the PS3, but I'm not sure how it would work. Does anyone know how to do this or is it impossible?
