How to pass an iPhone 4S through metal detector? - 1
Please don't say to just leave the phone at home. I need to bring the phone to school so I can call my mom after school. I live an 1 hr away from home and I need to contact my mom. I can't just borrow someone's phone every day so I need to pass through that metal detector. As you already know, is like going through an airport like in the picture so any way to pass it through?
It may be best that your mom contact the school administrators to make arrangements so you can keep the phone for the reason you stated.
The magnetometer (aka walk-through metal detector) will pick up cell-phones each time due to the amount of metal of which it is comprised of. (That is if the metal detector is set to airport security style sensitivities which I'm sure it is.)
Just put into the tray with the rest of your stuff, ie keys, wallet, etc

They usually have a place where you can put those types of items so that they don't go through the metal detector. Are you bringing it to school where it's not allowed, and therefore can't put it out where they see it? If that's the case, then you need to make arrangements with the school. There's no way to sneak your phone through the metal detector, and you'll just get in trouble when caught trying.
