How to play music from your iPhone in the Kia Sportage?
My girlfriend has a 2011 Kia Sportage and we can't figure out how to play tunes from an iPhone on the car stereo. We've tried hooking up both an iPhone 5 and an iPhone 4 to the USB hookup and all it does it beep. It won't connect to the stereo. Unfortunately, the owner's manual is no help. In my Chevy, it's a piece of cake. You just plug it in and the music starts playing.
Does anyone out there have any ideas on how to get it to work?
What stereo is it, maybe its incompatible with an iphone 5/4 or you need some special software on the iphone to use.

I want to buy the device that connects your iphone to your car stereo to play music that is on your phone (such as pandora). I need it for my long drive back to college. p.s. I just got an iphone and i'm iphone-illiterate.
- Kia forte 2011 USB port for iPhone? Ok I just bought a 2011 Kia forte when I plug my iPhone 5 in to the USB port a message pops up and goes away really fast all I can make our it's trust don't trust and then it says the connection failed what could this be how do I fix it

- Iphone 4 won't play music/sound but will play with headphones? I was syncing my phone to my laptop (everything was fine before this), but when I ejected my iphone from my laptop, the sound stopped working. It will still have sounds such as alarms, voice control and that sort of thing, and I can hear it fine when I'm wearing headphones, but other than that (for instance when it's on music or an app that uses sound) it's silent. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
