How to put an effect on a photo your taking on IOS?
So I watched my mate take a photo on his iPhone not long back but he added an effect to it which made the picture more orangy if that makes sense, it sort of dulled the picture a bit but it looked really good, basically I don't know how he did it, he set it up so the picture would be taken with the affect but he could change it to a different effect if he wanted, but it was not added afterwards, I've looked but can't find how he did it.
Under recent versions of iOS, in the camera, there's a set of three color circles in the lower right corner. If you tap this you get 9 small images showing you effects. Select one and you see the full screen image with that effect added.
Taking he photo under incandescent lighting and not setting the 'white balance' will do it every time.
There are tons of effects apps in the appstore to do all that and alot more
He's your "mate". So why not just ask him what he did.
