How to create iOS icons like glossy effect in Photoshop?
Most of us are familiar with Apple's iOS on iPhone, iPad etc. The icons in it are round-square shaped with glossy effect, feels like reflected glass effect. How can I exactly create this effect on any photograph using Photoshop?
Added (1). I will be thankful if you post links to download any kind of required things.
You'll want a white half circle/oval that's partially translucent.
Just use the Free-form marquee tool and make a form.
Next you want to apply a Dark/White Gradient on the form (coming from up to down or inverse, however you like it).
Now switch the Blend mode to Overlay and Lower the Opacity back to 50-60%, adjust that yourself.
Best idea is to google for a tutorial
