How to put backed-up data from iTunes back onto restored iPhone?
Alright, so I got my iPhone jailbroken and I didn't like it so I restored my phone. Before I did, I backed up the data and it's in iTunes under 'Edit>Preferences>Devices'.So now I want to get all that data onto my Phone again but I don't know how. How can I do this to make my phone exactly how it was before the jailbreaking?
Restore using a backup you should have restore from default or restore from backup
- My iPhone has to be restored but i don't know if my phone is backed up I tried updating my phone on my computer but then it said I needed to restore my phone. Will my apps/photos be deleted? I plug my phone to my computer and it says "backing up phone" but I don't know if that means it's backed-up. I'm really freaking out Please Help!
- Is music from apps other than iTunes restored in a back up? I was grounded for 5 weeks with my iPhone 5c powered off. When I turned it back on everything was fine but it said it needed a software update. Then told me to connect to the computer. In doing so an alert popped up saying my phone needed to be reset to factory settings and then I could restore to the latest back up. I have music through a music app (1000+ songs) but its not iTunes. Will I get that music back or have to redownload it all?
- Iphone 3GS on recovery mode but I haven't backed up that data with Itunes? Anyway I can get off 'restore mode' without deleting anything? Please Help! "iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode. You must restore this iPhone before it can be used with iTunes."
- If i restore my iphone via ITunes, everything will be put back on it from back up? I want to restore my iphone due to some problems i'm having but i wanna make sure i won't be losing anything. I backed it up to itunes, so where do i go from here? Do i do a factory reset and when its done, will it give me the option to use backup to put everything on my phone? I'm having a hard time understanding this and i don't wanna lose anything
