How to re-activate an iPhone that I somehow accidently un-activated?
I'm not the best at explaining things, but hopefully someone will understand my poor word choices. As I'd find it easier to start from the beginning, here it goes. My iPhone stopped working as a defect with a chip in it, causing the Wi-Fi in it to dim out, where I was unable to turn it back on. With that problem, I had to just get a completely new iPhone. So when my new iPhone 4S was delivered, I plugged it in to charge it to turn it on, but after I did that, a chat bubble thing popped up and said that it was activated and became my new phone, which I didn't want. Now I have the new iPhone that gets all my texts and stuff, which isn't good as I haven't gotten to load my backup onto the new iPhone, but my old iPhone isn't working now and I can't text or call with it, access iTunes or the App Store, things like that. I was just wondering if someone knew how I could be able to re-activate my old iPhone, somehow like I activated the new iPhone? Just in case you missed it, it's an iPhone 4S if that effects anything, 32 GB. Thanks.
Added (1). I forgot to mention, if it effects anything too, it's with Verizon.
If you used icloud, I would just activate it on the new phone and you should be able to backup from there, otherwise connect it to itunes and it will give you an option to load from backup, just make sure you don't "backup" the new phone before you load it.
- I dropped my iphone accidently, stuck on black screen and not turning on? Ok I was running around and I tripped then my iPhone fell out of my pocket, I picked it up and noticed it was on a grayish screen, I managed to turn it off by holding both the home screen and the power button, but when I tried to turn it on, it would not, it was stuck on a black screen, I'm able to hear sounds coming from the iPhone but not sure what to do. it won't turn on if I hold down the home and power button
- I accidently reset my IPone 4S, and now I want to get all the data back? Ok, so my brother had given me his IPhone 4S, but it still had all these contacts of people I didn't know. And then when I wanted to post a picture or something on Facebook, it would always show up on his account… So I reset it. I filled out all of the information, and now I need to get the old thing back. Please tell me it's possible…
- I accidently pluged my iPhones audio jack into a plug that goes into a wall outlet? The plug that's on head phones that goes into your iPhone. Well this one did not go to head phones it went into the wall now my phone won't turn on.
- I accidently followed someone on twitter? Stupid touch screen froze when I went to scroll down on someone's twitter… Next thing i know it say's I'm following them! I have no intention of following them - so i pressed unfollow. My question - will they see a notification on their iphone that 'example' is now following you… Or would the notification disappear?
