I accidently pluged my iPhones audio jack into a plug that goes into a wall outlet?
The plug that's on head phones that goes into your iPhone. Well this one did not go to head phones it went into the wall now my phone won't turn on.
I'm pretty sure I'm safe in saying that this iPhone is going to need a trip to an "authorized repair depot" or to be replaced. Sorry, things expecting to output power don't like inputting power very much. In more technical terms, I believe that one or more transistors on a chip or the board itself may have been exposed to what is called reverse breakdown voltage. If it is exceeded by too much voltage / current or time, the transistor will be destroyed and nothing short of board level replacement will fix it.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

- Type of outlet/cord I need to listen to audio from laptop to iPhone 7 plus? So as you may know, the iPhone7 and onward, have the lightning cable, which has a different mouth to it as well. I'm looking for something (a cord/adapter) in which I can use my iPhone ear buds and plug it into my laptop (which uses headphone jack outlet/mouth). Please give me your recommendations!
- Is there an adapter with AC/Wall Plug Input and USB output? Trying to find essentially the opposite of an iPhone cable. IIm wondering if there exists an adapter that will allow me to plug a wall outlet into a USB port. If so, let me know where I can find it!
- Is there a car jack to plug into my iPhone to listen to music in the car? So I have been wanting to listen to music through my iPhone in the car for awhile now since burning CDs is not something I specialize in. Is there a car jack for this so that I can play music over the stereo system? I have a 2004 Volvo XC90 if it helps. -Thanks!
