How to receive Twitter notifications?

I'm not receiving notifications from Twitter on my iPhone. I've checked the setting and everything is turned on. Does anyone know what's up?

Is your software on your phone up to date? If it is, try swiping down from the top of the screen to the bottom, a gray page will come down and your twitter notifications might be there.

  • Why won't my twitter notifications pop up on my iPhone? I restarted my phone about a month ago due to my phone having some problems. After i restarted my phone, I got the twitter app and turned on the notifications even the twitter badge icon. Ever since then, it still hasn't worked. My Facebook and Instagram notifications work but not Twitter. I have iOS 6.1.3 and before I restarted my iPhone, it worked.
  • Why don't twitter notifications work on my iPhone? No twitter app's push notifications work on my iPhone 5. I've tried the regular twitter app, echofon and tweetbot. All my notification options have been on in the settings of the iPhone and in each app. I've used each app singly, deleting the previous one every time I tried a new app. I've restarted the phone, reinstalled the twitter apps but nothing has worked. Been driving me crazy! My other push notifications work from other other apps except twitter.

  • Twitter SMS & Twitter App Mobile Notifications? I have and Iphone 4, currently up to date, etc etc. When I turn on mobile notifications on twitter I receive both the SMS/404-04 text notification and a push notification from my twitter mobile app. I would prefer to receive the notifications from my app only and not SMS. It would be easier to distinguish tweet from normal texts. Plus The SMS notifications leave my texts list messy. I can't figure out how to do this anywhere. Solutions?
