How to replace a lost iphone?

I had an iphone 4 but lost it but apparently my apple insurance i got last year doesn't cover lost phones… Any advice on what i should do? I would like a new iphone but i don't want to spend a lot or go thru much trouble

If your insurance doesn't cover lost phones, and you can't claim it on anything else (eg some home insurances cover mobile devices), then your only option is to buy a new one, or go without.

Do you have insurance through your carrier? They might replace it or at least sell you a refurb below cost. Otherwise you'll have to buy a "new" one at retail (or a used one).

Too bad your phone either got trashed (or apparently found by one of those people who couldn't think to do what was needed to get you your phone back.

That's really bad your insurance doesn't cover it! I would call up next week and say it was stolen.

For £7 a month you can be insured for everything including loss. I hope your not paying a penny more than that for the insurance you get, otherwise cancel that and take out a new policy with protect you bubble.

Do you have insurance with you bank? I have an account that I pay for each month and that has mobile phone insurance and covers loss.

If you have to buy a new phone your probably best of looking to get a Samsung or htc as you will get a more for your money as the iPhone 4 still retails at £319 and that's only for the 8GB and this phone is 2 and a half years old. Steep.
