How to reset an iphone with a password on it?

I found an iPhone at the park with no one by it and it has a pass code on it so how can I reset it without getting on the computer or whatever since I don't know anything about the email being used

You'll have to use a computer, because if you type 10 times a wrong password the phone will erase all the data, but if you connect it to a computer you can reset it without any trouble!

You should try an find the owner before you do anything. If it is an iPhone 3GS or later, hold down the home button until a blue screen (or Siri) turns up then say 'Call [your mobile number]'. Then call the mobile operator of the mobile phone (O2, Orange, T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, Sprint) and give them the mobile number so they can contact the owner.
That is the ethical and moral thing to do, please do it.

Otherwise, if you're going to be a selfish poop, Google: 'iPhone DFU Mode' and then plug it into your computer (with iTunes) to reset it.

Search on how to restart an iphone in DFU mode. Then connect with itunes and download Latest firmware. Then install with Itunes by holding shift and clicking the button Restore Iphone. And give the path of downloaded Firmware which would be in ".ipsw" extension.download firmware from

Do the right thing and turn it in before they use "Find My Iphone." Finding it in the park and taking it is stealing if you don't attempt to find the owner. It is just wrong to do that, you know you would be mad if someone did that to you. Don't be a D-bag. Return it or take it to the police. Or maybe put a listing online or in the paper for "Found Iphone!"

WTF!

And no, you can't reset it from the phone.
