How to reset iphone in IPhone is Disabled mode?
I tried holding the home and power button until i saw the apple icon. But the iPhone is disabled and the computer i used for iTunes is gone. But i do have another computer… Is it away i can reset and re program everything?
Plug it in the computer
turn the phone off
hold the power and home button for 10 seconds, then let go off the power button but keep holding the home button for 10 seconds
then restore it on itunes
If you go to iCloud.com you can use find my iphone online to wipe it. If that doesn't work you can try the Genius Bar if you have an apple store nearby.
You MUST connect it to a computer and run recovery mode by holding down both of those buttons. This will wipe the phone. E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G will be erased.

- My iPhone 4 is disabled, and won't enter Recovery Mode? I got an iPhone 4 from my friend. They forgot the passcode and set it into Disable mode. The screen says to Connect to iTunes. I created an iTunes account, however this is not the same account nor computer as the last. I have tried everything. When I connect the phone to iTunes, it says "To allow access, respond on your iPhone…" which I'm not aware of how to do. My phone also will not enter "Recovery Mode". This IS urgent.

I'm using a program called Connectify Hotspot on my Dell Latitude 3340 which is running Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit. I want to connect my iPhone 4 to the hotspot but because my iPhone is so old, and my laptop is so new, it doesn't support the network channel. I just want to know how to switch from 5ghz mode, to 2.4gz mode so my iPhone can connect.
