How to reset my iphone and still keep an app?
With this whole flappy bird thing going on, i realized that if people are dumb enough to spend more money than what the phone is worth… I'm going to sell my iphone and buy myself a new one (plus more) with the money i get from it. However, i have come across a problem. How can i pretty much factory reset the phone WITHOUT losing the app? I don't want my account or any information on there anymore. Thanks
Added (1). yeah, flappy bird. Not necessarily factory reset. But make it so that my information is no longer in there and the only thing left is flappy bird.
What app? Flappy Bird? There's no way you could factory reset it without removing apps.
This won't be possible as it is taken off of the app store. If you do happen to lose Flappy Bird you could play an alternative game called Squishy Bird

It is a less frustrating version I can promise you that!
I'd say your best bet would be to remove all your pictures, contacts etc, then remove any iTunes accounts. You could see if that worked?!
Reset and get the apk file for free
I was thinking about doing the same thing. You can try saving all your apps to iTunes before resetting the device and then place the app back on the device after you have reset it. This could take some time, but it may be worth it in the end.
- Would my photos and contacts still be on my iphone of I reset it? I thought of I reset my iPhone and used my iCloud to sign on, would my photos and contacts be on if they were backed up on the iCloud?
- Master reset my iPhone 4 last night and its still not done? I erased all my data and settings last night because I'm selling it today. When I reset it, it went to the apple logo and then to the spinner that comes up when it dies. I can't hard reset it because the lock button is stuck.iTunes nor my MacBook will recognize it so I can't try to fix it through iTunes. I tried connecting it to my wall charger as well, nothing. Still spinning 8 hours later… And I've read it's supposed to only take 15 mins at most.
- If I reset my iphone and then restore it will my photos and contacts still be there? I have an iPhone 3GS. Someone reset the password on it, so i followed the instructions to delete all data and i'm currently restoring all the data from a previous sync with itunes. When it is done restoring the data, will my pictures and contacts still be entered in it?
- I jailbroke my iphone now it won't turn on, so I reset it and it still won't turn on? I jailbroke my Iphone a few days ago, it's an Iphone 4. Everything was working fine until today when I installed a tweak. After the tweak installed I had to restart springboard, now it won't turn on. The apple logo pops up then goes away. I plugged it into my laptop and reset it but it's still doing the same thing.
