How to reset your restrictions password on your iPhone WITHOUT a computer?
I need help, I don't have a computer and I need to reset my restrictions password!
With some technical equipment, you can short a connection on the motherboard and it will reset everything to default states. At least, that is true for every computer motherboard I've examined. I suppose the same thing could be used in the motherboard of a phone, but you would need to closely examine the technical specs for that product to determine if it would work, exactly what connection needs to be shorted to reset things.
- My iPhone 4s won't let me reset it without a restrictions passcode? It says I need to put in the restriction password to do it but I never made a restriction password I don't know what it's talking about… Is there a way to erase that password I have no idea what it is or how it's on there
- Is there a way i could remove my restrictions password from my iphone 4? I let my little brother mess around with my iphone 4 and when i got it back the app store and safari were gone. I figured out he turned on restrictions and when i asked him what the password was he didn't remember. So now i basically have nothing to do on it.
- I set an iPhone restrictions password on my phone, but forgot it? My younger nephew was borrowing my phone for the week, so I turned restrictions on. But, I forgot the password. I have 9 failed attempts, what happens if I get to 10? I know the phone will be wiped, but does that mean everything will be put to factory settings, or that I can't use my phone at all, or I won't be able to guess the password anymore? Sidenote- Non-jail broken iPhone 3GS, iOS 6.0.1. And I don't own a computer and I can't restore it from one anyway.
- I need to figure out how to find my restrictions password on my iphone? A while back i watched a video and got my password. It used the backup data from the iphone and was able to find the stored password in the backup. Now i need help i can't rember what windows program and can't find the video. Need some help i really need this password.
