How to restore iPhone 5 from backup when in recovery mode?
So i backed up an iPhone 5 that I have that I currently use as an iPod because i don't have a sim for it yet… I had the smart idea of restoring it and now I can't get in without a sim card. I've restored this phone before though and restored it and got in without a sim so I was wondering if I could do this because now that it's restored it doesn't give me an option to restore from backup…

- What's the difference between restore and recovery mode on an iphone? Just wondering I heard people talking about stuff and it sounds like there the same thing what's the difference?
- My iPhone is stuck in recovery mode & I don't want to restore! - 1 ITunes failed an update on my phone so it's in recovery mode. I have over 1000 pictures that I don't want to lose. I tried the redsn0w thing that's supposed to work but you have to put your phone in DFU mode which I can't do becouse MY HOME BUTTON DOESN'T WORK. What can I do?
- Iphone will not restore from recovery mode? I tried to restore my iphone via itunes but is now stuck in recovery mode. I press 'Restore' on itunes and it downloads the software (takes about half an hour!) and then nothing happens. There's no error message or anything. I've tried this several times now. I've uninstalled and reinstalled itunes and I've tried turning off my firewall. Nothing has worked so far and my phone is out of action. Any ideas?
