How to restore my iphone without losing everything?
So, i thought it would be a good idea to update to ios 7.1. I went to do it, and all the screen says is iTunes with an arrow pointing towards the symbol. I've read that i'll lose everything on my phone if i restore it, and i Really don't want to. Is there any way i can get out of this?
The answer is no, if you restore, it simply restore, that is the point of the thing.
The best you can do is restore and use cloud to get your contacts, photos, apps etc back.
For the music you'll need to put it back in again.
Anyways I don't understand why updating would need you to restore.
So if i restore it, which i've read is the only thing you can do when the phone is in recovery mode. Will i lose my text messages too?
