How to restore older firmwares on iTunes?
I have an iphone 4 with ios6.1. The latest firmware now is 6.1.3.Is it possible to upgrade to 6.1.2?
No, restores have to be approved by apple, and they will only approve the latest version. The only way to restore without approval is if you have used the firmware version before and have jailbroke the device and stored SHSH blobs from Cydia.
The SHSH blobs can be used to "trick" the device to thinking it has been signed by apple, but since you haven't used it before then there's no way to install iOS6.1.2
I assume you don't want to upgrade to 6.1.3 as you want to jailbreak. If so you will have to wait until a 6.1.3 jailbreak is available before upgrading.

I tried downloading the latest itunes and when i try to install it is says I need Mac Os X 10.6.8 or later. My computer is running 10.5.8 and when I check for updates it says there are none.
