How to restore photos after update iPhone?
I have an iphone 4s, i have updated the new version without backing up the files. Now i have lost everything on my iphone, my photos and all media. I have not saved them in the icloud either. I was wondering if there's away to recover the data lost.
Sync your iPhone with your iTunes account on a computer. It should have them saved on there from the last time you synced it.
As a matter of fact, every time you sync data between iPhone and iTunes, all previous data will be automatically backed up by iTunes and stored as a.sqlitedb file, which will be updated along with the later sync continuously.
So, only if you have synced your iPhone with iTunes before, you are able to restore your missing contacts. But those backup files can't be viewed or taken out unless you use some software using special algorithms to extract. A third party specific iPhone data recovery software called Tenorshare iTunes Data Recovery can help. I used it to recover deleted contacts from iPhone 4s and it worked.
As you do not have a back up.
you can try to use an iPhone professional data recovery software to deal with that.
- Will my photos be saved on iPhone 6s after I restore the device? I made sure to disable find my iPhone and restore the phone. Will my photos still be there when the phone is set up? I did this yesterday when I gave the phone to my step dad for him to set up for my bro and I can't stop panicking if the photos still was on there. As sometimes when you set up phone it will ask you to enter previous iCloud account which was logged in on the phone.
- Restoring lost iphone photos after update? Right, basically my dad is a right techno noob and he has not backed up his iphone since january (or so it says). He has recently just installed the new ios6 and after this he has lost all of his photos and is only able to get a back up from that of january. Surely itunes would have backed it up before the update? It doesn't look as though the photos are on the phone at all, but i was wondering if they would have been stored anywhere? any help would be great
- In the middle of an iPhone update and my iTunes won't recognise my phone in order to continue to update. Can I stop the update now? Neither the computer nor iTunes are recognising my phone and I've been working on his for an hour, I want to stop the update so I can go to bed, how can I do that? It's only at the stage where it has a symbol on the screen of the iPhone cable linking to iTunes
- If you disabled FindMyiPhone to restore your device, will the app be enabled again after the restore? A few weeks ago I upgraded to the iPhone SE and I restored the data from my iPhone 4s onto it. (I had to disable FindMyiPhone in the process). Little did I know that it would be lost/stolen 2 weeks later. Really need to know if FindMyiPhone would be enabled because I want to know if I still have any hope at all finding it. Thanks. I tried the app already… Says it's offline. Been waiting since.
