How to restore you iphone from ios 7?

I don't have a apple dev account and i upgraded to ios 7 but when i tried to go back to ios 6.1.4 itunes locked my phone down and it is inaccessible and won't let me change it is there a way i could change it without itunes?

Why did you install it when it warned you need a developer account for the beta?

You're probably going to have to go to the store and have Apple reset your device or buy a developer account for $99/year and then show that you have a developer account and you'll have access to it again.

Here's what you need to do:

1.download the iOS 6.1.4.ipsw file. Just google and you can find it. Do take note that there's different versions for the different type of phone you using. Check the model of your phone and download the respective software for the phone.
2.set your device to DFU mode. Just hold down your power+home button for around 6-10 secs until the screens shuts off, and release ONLY THE POWER BUTTON. The screen will show the USB cable and the itunes logo. This shows that it's in DFU mode. Google DFU on iphone and it will show you in more detail.
3.connect your iphone to your computer.assuming you have a windows computer, run itunes and it will detect a phone in recovery mode. The only option that you can press is the restore iphone button.
4.press Shift+Click on the restore button and select the iOS 6.1.4.ipsw file that you downloaded.
5. If everything goes well, your device will be restored to the iOS 6.1.4.

do take note that there may be several issues that may arise during the restoring.such as a wrong 6.1.4 file. This basically means you downloaded the wrong 6.1.4 version for your phone. Any other itunes related issues, just google it and it will show.
