How to retrieve information from my dead iphone?
There's something wrong with my iphone 4's battery which is causing it to not start up. I'm getting a new one, but there are some photos, notes, and voice recordings on the broken one that I do not want to lose. Is there a way to retrieve this information? Seeing as it is a battery issue and the data should all still be there, it seems like I should be able to retrieve that stuff somehow. Any help greatly appreciated!
If you have it synced and backed up on itunes then when you get your new iphone, restore it to backup from the backup your took of your old phone and they should be on there. If you haven't already synced it though, you are out of luck
It can be done. But it is not easy. It would involve taking the phone apart and then figuring out how to hook up some sort of external power supply.
You can try EaseUS MobiSaver to export the data from your dead iPhone to computer.
- Would my information on my iphone 4s be transferred to my iphone 5 if I do this? My iphone 4s cracked, its still working but I'm getting an iphone 5 soon. My iphone 4s is jailbroken. If I back up my iPhone 4s on my computer, will it be saved as jailbroken or not? And can I restore my iphone 5 with the back up (iphone 4s info)? Even if I get the iphone 5s, would all the info transfer?
