How to save text messages to computer?
I have an IPhone 3G and I'm getting an iPhone 4. I want to save all my text message and transfer them to my new phone. I heard that if I just take out the sim and put it into my new phone it should already be there. I also heard you can save them to an computer and the transfer them into your new phone? If so how, and also if there's any other way can you tell me.
To the best of my knowledge there's no sim card in the 3G or 4g iphone. So that option is not there. I fail to see a reason to take up memory by saving messages for the sole sake of saving them. But each to their own. Have your cell provider transfer all existing data from the old to the new phone.

- Why is my iPhone5 sending some messages as iMessage and others as Text Messages? I understand that messages are sent as Text Messages when there's no signal or poor Wi-Fi connection. However, I'm successfully texting some people using iMessage but others (still iPhone users) as Text messages.
