How to send a package to another state that someone is buying?
I'm selling an iPhone and the buyer lives in Georgia and I live in California. Does anyone know how I can send it and get my money too? I heard paypal is safe but I wouldn't know how to go about that either way.
You can open a paypal account but it will take about 5 business days. You can't ship it without the money, and they won't pay for it without the item. Maybe you should have thought about this before hand. My question is how did you sell this phone? Unless you open a paypal account or have friends or relatives in Georgia that can deliver it to them in person, it appears to be a dead transaction. There are other ways to do this but it's far more complicated and expensive You might want to see if it can be shipped C.O.D. Where the buyer then has to pay for it. Hardly anyone is allowed to ship that way anymore and you would need the buyers consent. I wish I could help you. Go to the company you sold it through and search for answers.
- USPS lost my package from eBay and the seller refunded me, should I still file a missing package claim? I had ordered the iPhone 7 for my birthday last week and I never received my package. I went through a whole ordeal with USPS (who was no help at all). Eventually the eBay seller was happy to issue me a full refund but I'm wondering if it's worth my time to file a missing package claim.
- Texting someone in another state? I have AT&T and an iPhone with unlimited texting. If I text a friend who's gone down south for vacation (but still in the US) will it charge me extra or pop up on my bill or anything or will it be like any other text and not show up on the bill?
- Is it possible to get an IPhone in a different state from where you live? I've been using t-mobile, but they don't offer the IPhone so I'm changing plans as soon as my contract is up. The issue is I'm going to be out of state the day it ends. Will it be a problem to get it out of town?
- Is Fed-Ex responsible for giving away my package to someone else? I had an iPhone that was coming in couple days ago and I saw the delivery confirmation. To my surprise, it said it was delivered and signed by someone else. I called Fed-ex and they refuse to take responsibility because they said someone was at the house and they signed it. (No one was at home at the time) They showed the signature, but no one that is living in the house is named "Sarah." There wasn't even a last name! What do I do?!
