How to send music to my iPhone from the library in my PC?

I have an iPhone 3GS but can't see how to copy music to it. The PC is windows 7 home with media player 10. Some music is wma format and some is mp3.In iTunes it's only imported selected files (seemily at random!). I have a whole Christmas playlist in media player which I'd like to transfer to the phone but I can't see how. I even tried drag and drop in Explorer but the files are not visible on the phone.

Try to open you whole christmas playlist in iTunes. Then you'll get the music shown on iTunes. From then, connect it and transfer it. I don't think you can do it in Explorer. You need to do it straight from iTunes it self. Or you could use an app that lets you transfer music. I guess. Hope it helps.

WMA files, are not supported by iTunes or any iPod product. Hence why iTunes will only find your MP3 files. You can use an audio converter like (Any Audio converter which is a free download), to convert these WMA files to an MP3.

In iTunes, connect your iPhone. If you have iTunes 11, you need to make sure you have the sidebar on (Press CTRL + S) to bring up/hide the sidebar.

Import all of your files to iTunes. In the sidebar you'll see (Your Name's) iPhone appear. Press CTRL + A to select all songs. Now click and drag these over to the sidebar where it says (Your Name's) iPhone. Now the songs will transfer.

Hope i've helped!

Use itunes for that: http://www.justtext.com/messageboards/20131222090013.html

You can follow this guide to transfer your music from windows media player to iTunes first, then sync your iPhone with iTunes, the music should be transferred to your iPhone automatically,
