How to transfer music from my iphone's music library to my itunes library?

How do you take the music from your Iphone's music tab and put it on a playlist outside of the iphone section? My iphone broke and I need to transfer my music.

Go online and find the software called PodWorks. It will cost around $10.It is a third party software that is frown upon by Apple. It will alow you to copy music from your iPod to your iTunes software on your computer.

Are you using iCloud?

If yes, click on the "purchased items" in the source selector on iTunes. On the bottom of the screen it says something about downloading previously purchased items (apps, videos, movies, songs), click on that.

On the next screen click the button that says "not on this device" (or something close to that).

You should see a list of everything purchased that hasn't been sync'd to your computer. You can now download those items to your computer by clicking on the cloud icon.
