How to separately have two devices connected to the same email?

I have an iPod touch and an iPhone. They're both connected to the same apple account and so they have the same email. Whenever I get texts or send them to someone that also has an iPhone it pops up on my iPod and has the whole conversation as if I've been messaging from that device but I've been messaging from my phone, I do I get it to stop doing this?

Hi, The Problem is - i set up a wireless network today for my Iphone 5 and my blackberry, from my main desktop at home, and all went well and Both are connected to it, as well as my laptop. I have iTunes on my computer that I use for my iPhone, and my mon just got an iPod Touch and wants me to fill it for her. I'm going to use her computer to do this, which currently does not have iTunes. Once I download iTunes, can I use my own Apple ID to download songs and apps onto her iPod? Is it possible to do that without disturbing what's on my phone, or do I have to make a whole new iTunes account for her?

We use the same account and i wanted to know if the apps i download will download to his phone. And if i start using facetime and iMessage, if its going to send it to his phone as well? I added another email address (MINE) for the iMessage and Facetime, would that change anything? please anwser
